Hi,I have seizures often for many reasons and I also have panic attacks.I've found that the begining stages of seizures and panick attacks is very similar.its so scary and it feels like I'm trapped somedays. I feel that breathing helps panic attacks and I can change my thoughts and busy enviorements to feel better..with seizures I feel it coming try to breath and it doesn't help so I
sit down or call someone and then I wake up and am told I had one. My point is I can't help siezures but panic attacks I can.that's how I know the diffrence..talk to your doctor and get medications for anxiety and seizures.it helps bigtime.also take good care of yourself and anytime youhave that feeling call someone over if you are alone.if your out and about feeling it,have medication on hand and try to be with someone who is aware of your condition so theycan help you. I understand how scary it is.

I do not know a whole lot about anxiety disorders but I know more about seizures. There is many types of seizures, what I mean by that is a person could just stare off into space or they could go up to hitting the floor and start having convulsions. I have both of them and then some. That is why my friends call me flipper.
Could some of the symptoms of a panic attack be the same as a "type" of seizure, yes. Can you always tell if you have had a seizure, no. I have had seizures while in my neurologist office and did't know until he told me. If you are out some where and have a seizure where you go all the way out, there is nothing you can do about it.
