Swollen lymph nodes

I have been feeling different the past 2 months, having trouble focusing, lack of energy when waking up,memory problems, concentration and I have had no yearn to masturbate for the past month. My lymph nodes in my throat are very swollen and the ones on each side of my groin are also swollen and I get an aching feeling now above my testicles i do not think its my actual testicles that hurt. I am 19 not sexually active ever totally clean, and have not been sick in months to cause the lymph nodes to be swollen. if you need more information please ask

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Swollen lymph nodes across multiple areas or generalized lymphadenopathy can be due to viral infections such as mono or EBV or cytomegalovirus or due to bacterial infections like TB.  HIV or AIDS (not in your case), leukemia, lymphomas and other cancers can also be a cause. This could also be due to inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis. It is difficult to determine the cause on net. This is not something you should ignore. In all probability it is infectious mononucleosis. Please consult your doctor. Take care!
