Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If you have sore throat with oval bumps at the back and difficulty in swallowing but do not have any other symptoms then it could be due to gastric reflux. If you have stomach issues, then take some antacid gel and see if it helps. If it brings even minor relief, then you will need a combination of acid and reflux reducing drugs. The other possibility is an allergic reaction to something you ate. It is difficult to comment without examination. Hence please consult your PCP.
Hope this helps. Take care!
Hi,
I have an immune disease and have had this happen before, it's always from a throat infection of some type: strep, mono, etc. Also the lumps could be your tonsils or adenoids swelling up if they are infected, or they could be some type of patches due to a fungal infection like thrush, I've had all of those things. I'd suggest just going to your primary care doctor or an ear/nose/throat doctor and they should be able to diagnose it pretty easily. If it's just an infection then antibiotics should clear it right up, and if it is something more serious then the sooner you find out the better.
