My doctor said I had a swollen lymph node just below my thyroid gland that, essentially, didn't have the internal components of an average node. In her words, "there's nothing inside of it". Can someone explain to me what this means? I haven't found any information about that kind of irregularity. I'm getting an xray of it at the end of November. I'm not freaking out over it, it's only 1.6cm, but I'd like to learn more about it. Thanks for the help!
