Unable to eat much?

I haven't been able to eat much of anything at all in the past 2 weeks. I just got over the stomach flu about a week ago. While I was sick, I ate maybe 1 spoonful of rice as that was all I could keep down. I felt fine for a few days after the flu symptoms went away but now that all the other symptoms are gone and the stomach pains are still there. It makes me think there is something else going on.
The stomach cramps are moderate to severe, getting worse during the evening and I'm finding it hard to sleep much so that is taking its toll as well.
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia when I was 16 so I know there are known issues with the digestive system but in all these years of having the disease I've never had many stomach problems.

What other things could cause stomach pain to last this long? Are there any certain questions I should be asking a doctor incase I need to go to the ER?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
In all probability the stomach infection is persisting. Take an OTC lactobacillus preparation and yoghurt with your meals. Drink plenty of fluids. Eat light, do not stay hungry but eat simple things like toast, porridge, cereals, crackers, banana, rice, peeled apple, etc. Take ORS. Also you could be having severe acidity hence take antacids and see.
If all this does not help, consult a doctor immediately. Take care!
