Unknown disease

Hi,

My girlfriends mom has been severely ill for a few months now. She has been in hospital but left as the doctors could not diagnose the problem. The gave her a lumber punch, blood tests etc.

Her symptoms: Headaches, weight loss, most joints pain, bruising at finger tips, bruising on her legs, lower back pain, pain in her neck, nausea, loss of appetite, loses feeling in her face, grey hairs on her head coming through, her face is starting to look very old.

It all started with the extreme lower back pain that she couldn't even walk and was bed bound. We've tested our water, blood tests for many diseases all come back negative.

I'm really worried as this has been going on for far too long without any answers!

If anyone could please shed some light i would be truly grateful!

Kind Regards
Gareth

you'll know when and if she gets better ! none of her symptoms are specific of Addison's disease. maybe it was diagnosed according to blood tests but it could still be not the primary disease but rather caused by another underlying condition.

It's going to be a life long cure it seems! But at least we finally know what was wrong!

Hi Jackie,

Thank you for your reply!

Yes she had been tested for heavy metal poisoning etc.

She is in hospital again, and saw another specialist which diagnosed her with Addison's disease!

Kind regards
Gareth

Hi Gareth...I know you must feel absolutely helpless but you got to keep trying different DOCS and different opinions.. Sounds like the Doctors have missed something somewhere.... has she been checked for an auto immune disease where the body attacks one self? has she been tested for lead poisoning or any types of poisoning..?
