Vomiting, Diarrhea, Night Sweats

In the middle of the Night on friday, I woke up feeling sick.  I threw up a few times and for all of saturday  i was constantly puking and going to the bathroom with bad diarrhea.  I assumed it was food poisoning because that seemed to be what the symptoms were, especially when on sunday i didnt throw up one time and the runs got better for me.  But on sunday night when i urinated before bed, i noticed some blood in my urine.  This has not occured again since but it concerned me.  Also, I have woken up with the night sweats on Sunday and Monday night, and on tuesday morning I had really bad diarrhea again.  Any ideas?

Thanks for your imput.  I went to see the doctor yesterday and they took some blood and urine tests.  Everything came back good and the doctor told me to keep drinking fluids and to eat certain foods.  All the symptoms have but passed except for the nightsweats, which my doctor thinks is just part of a fever.

Hi

It could be a case of food poisoning or just a case of bacterial or viral gastroenteritis. Please drink plenty of fluids and take a light diet. Replenish the salts in your diet. Consult your doctor. You may need to take some tests like stool and urine examination. Please watch your urine color. A urine examination will detect any loss of blood however microscopic. In case there is blood loss, it will need to be looked into. Generalized infection can at times cause blood in urine.

It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining and tests to confirm it. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted.
