Sorry for the double post, but I just read the tests for this disease and it said that CBC's are usually counted before the tests. My CBC's came out normal.
Is Celiac disease deadly?
It could be because you boosted your metabolism by working out and building muscle. Muscle burns calories more efficiently. The other possibility is a malabsorptive disorder like Celiac disease. There are blood tests for that. It is becoming extremely common. There are many, many different possible symptoms. If you have digestive complaints or skin issues, migraines, heartburn, those are just a few common symptoms.
I am a male. I am 18 years old. My doctor doesn't seemed that concerned with the weight loss because I stopped loosing weight at the 225 mark. But now I have been loosing it again. I weigh myself in the same type of clothing as well. Gym Shorts, T-Shirt, and my nike shoes. I weight myself everyday I got to the gym, which is usually 3-5 times a week.
How old are you? Are you male or female? If you dont mind. As for the weight lifting not burning fat.....wrong. When you build muscle, muscle burns fat. Once you get those muscles moving, you burn calories all day. Probably not to the extent that you are losing it, but then that is why I asked your sex. Trust me, makes a difference. Does your Dr seem concerned about the weight loss? Do you weight yourself at the same time and in the same types of clothing, naked is best. All things to consider.
I haven't. I don't have much knowledge at all when it comes to this. What could be wrong with my thyroid?
Have you had your thyroid looked at? If you haven't I would suggest making sure ask for Free T cells as well as the TSH test that the doctors order. (Free T's are what can be used, TSH is a hormone to the thyroid that tells it to work and so sometimes isn't as reliable.)
