Tight/pressured heart, rapid heart best

Hi,

i am 35 years old female.

Recently every morning i get up from bed I feel some sort of tightness in my chest & slight pain to wards the left side. Its not pain i cant handle, its just a bit uncomfortable.

i do get the same feeling sometimes during the day too. Haven't gone to the doctor yet & don't to go either. I am quite sure its just a form of anxiety attack.

My question is that can a rapid heart rate and anxiety so often cause death?

I would definitely go see my doctor. Blood pressure normally spikes when we first get up in the morning, but it is not supposed to cause discomfort or pain. Some basic tests are painless and you might just need some BP medication.  If you do have a more serious underlying issue, you certainly want to address it before it gets worse. Women often exhibit different and deceptively milder symptoms of heart issues than men do, so please go to the doctor!

It depends if you have tachycardia where the heart rate if about 200 beats/minute. If it is just fast (100beats or so) No unless you have a heart problem I don't think just getting a panic attack and your heart racing will cause death. Usually with a panic attack you feel like you are going to die. I hope you get meds for this at least.
