Weird symptoms, no answers-going on a year of tests

I feel lumps in my neck under my chin(not glands as that has been ruled out) I have swelling around my ears, under chin and neck. Pressure in my ears and jaw. TMJ has been a problem, but I feel like that is an affect of something else going on. Like the pressure building in my neck and throat with the swelling is causing my jaw to move in the wrong ways. I have had a MRI of head and cervical spine-negative. Blood work, xray of jaws, chest and sinuses. NOO answers or releif. More recent symptoms are pins and needle senssations all around neck glands and down my neck. Any ideas to pose to my doctors would be great. THanksj

Hello,

Yes, Ive had lots of bloodwork. The only thing with that which has been consistent throughout my life, is low red and white blood counts. I see a tmj specialist next month, but I just feel like something else is going on to have caused the pressure and therefore and irregular bite. My jaw does not hurt really, when I eat or anything. I know I dont grind at night. The pressure is around my ears and down my neck, and Like I said- swelling in that area. I feel like I have two chins and almost like I have a brace on. Ive been feeling around in there, and whenever I touch my glands I feel pins and needles. This has been literally a year of doctors and tests, and unanswered questions. Quite frustrating

You say glands has been ruled out- I assume you mean thyroid and parathyroid.  What about lymph nodes?  You might try to get an MRI of your jaws to check on jaw discs the next time you are due to get your TMJ problem checked out.  Pins and needles... I wonder about pressure on a nerve(s).  Have they done blood work to rule out cancer?
