Stomach pain

I spend a week in Spain and since I got back to the USA, (10 days now )I have pain on my upper stomach, nauseas and headaches. I have also been very tired, dizzy and weak. This only happens sometimes (about 75 %) especially after I eat. I have stop eating because when I do, I get very sick.  I went to the emergency room and they didn't find anything wrong but the doctor  prescribed me Zantax. I still feel sick. I have scheduled an appoinment with a specialist but it is a week from now. Any suggestions?

Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be due to GERD or gall bladder disease. Eat small nutritious meals at frequent intervals instead of a heavy single meal. Exercise frequently and take your dinner atleast 2 hrs prior to bedtime. Also raise the head end of the bed by 2 blocks.
To help control the stomach acid, one should not drink alcohol or drinks with caffeine in them, or eat chocolate or spicy or greasy foods .

Take some OTC antacid like Mylanta. You can also take zantac(ranitidine)or prilosec(omeprazole). These will help. Also keep your fluid electrolyte balance optimum by drinking lots of fluids.

If the symptoms persist then pls get an ultrasound gall bladder done after consulting a physician.
I hope that helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.

You should get your gallbladder checked and your small intestines, because you have symptoms after eating
