Woke up with elbow pain.

This morning i woke up with a substantial pain in my left elbow.  when extended it doesn't really hurt to bad, however when I bend it, it is quite painful.  I am assuming i must have slept on it in a weird way or something.  Possibly with it bent up against my chest and then maybe i rolled on top of it. I am not sure what this means I don't know if i may have hyperextended it in some way or what can be done to help it. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I thought I responded to this yesterday, but I'll go ahead now. I think you should examine your diet. If you are using any artificial sweeteners, stop them now. If you have to have sweetener in your coffee, use Stevia, which is natural and found at stores like Trader Joe's. I know it's not like I know definitively that you have sucralose poisoning (Splenda), but my husband and I are going through this too right now, and have narrowed the joint/muscle pain down to this.

My husband also thought he had slept on his arm wrong, but my left hip/knee are horrible, and we are on Atkins' diet and after much googling have figured out that the only thing this pain could be from is artificial sweetener- sucralose.

I still can't walk well, but at the amount of Splenda I've put in my body over the last two months, I think it's going to be a process. I'm exploring detox methods now. Granular Vitamin C looks promising, as it dechlorinates, and Splenda is chlorine.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Hello,

It simply looks like a muscle strain.Pls give rest to the elbow and apply warm compresses on the site of pain. Also take some over the counter anti-inflammatory analgesic(pain killer) like ibuprofen or diclofenac.Application of a topical muscle relaxant will also help.

If the symptom persists then pls get it evaluated from an orthopedician.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted in case of additional queries.
