Yellow/White Stool for a week Diarrhea, Vomiting, help.

I am a 22 year old female. I take some medications - however my levels concerning all of them were just checked at the beginning of this week and came back normal. Along with that my thyroid and kidney were checked and came back normal. However.
For a week now I have had extreme urgency to relieve bowel movements, diarrhea, occasional vomiting, and one weak lower abdomen. As the week progressed the urges to use the restroom persisted, along with the gas, however the stool was not as much and it was more difficult to produce. I have noticed for at least 5 of the last 7 days it has had a yellow-white color to it. I have no idea what is going on, any ideas?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Generally pale colored stools with gas and gut problems are seen in a problem of the biliary tract which may include gall stones, bile duct stricture, biliary cirrhosis, sclerosing cholangitis, Cysts of the bile ducts and cancer or benign tumors. Viral or alcoholic hepatitis and side effect of certain medications are the other causes. You may need to consult a hepatic specialist and get this investigated by conducting certain tests like CT scan, liver function tests and other invasive tests like magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) or endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
Since I cannot examine you and know other related conditions you may be having, nor is a detailed history possible on net, I have listed the various possibilities that should be looked into. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral.
Take care!
