blood clot in leg????????

For the past month I have had a pain in my leg.  Like the left side of shin.  But then calf.  And up into my left buttocks.  Sometimes i get a weird like twinge or tingle in between my big toe and second toe. I have been pretty lazy over past 2 months lounging around.  Not history of clotting I'm 24 yrs old. I wear a police belt 40 + hrs a week. Someone told me that since I have no redness or swelling or temp change it wasn't clot.  They said probally a nerve.  What does it sound like. It's a come and go pain more apt to come after sitting for a while. I'm afraid of clot and pe. Bbt the Way I have extreme health anxiety thx by the way pain is not unbearable and comes and goes.  i can walk and run and job without pain.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
The pain is more likely to be due to pinched lower spinal nerves (sciatica) or superficial nerves (due to tight belt) than due to a clot. If you stand long hours, then you must take short breaks to exercise the legs or walk. A MRI of lower spine and nerve conduction tests should be done. If these are negative, then a dopplar study to rule out clots should be performed. Take care!

Sounds like a nerve problem and not a DVT.  (PE= is in the lungs; not the legs)
Possibly a sciatia nerve problem.  If it were a clot you wouldn't be able to run and would possibly be having problems walking.

I would recommend consulting a Neurologist for testing and/or imaging.
