According to the research I did there have been several long term side effects from having it. They were: aphasia- inability to speak, seizures and encephalopathy-any disease of the brain, behavior changes, cognitive problems, lung problems and lung damage.

The symptoms you mentioned I don't know if they are or are not related to the swine flu but since you have been ill since then it is very possible, regardless,  you certainly sound ill.  It sounds like it could possibly be a bacterial infection. You really need to visit your doctor as soon as possible and will probably need to be on antibiotics.  Good Luck !

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If you had swine flu in recent past, then this could be persisting. Other than that it can also be infectious mon nucleosis. It can also be a bacterial infection. You need to test again for swine flu and for mono, send throat swab for culture and consult an ENT too.
Drink plenty of fluids, warm lemonade, soups etc. Take care!
