cervical spine disorders

MRI-cervical spine done 9/24/2010 & impression was (1)borderline canal diameter of C5-6 on a multifactorial basis with prominent bony ridging & bulging disc mildly (r) sided eccentric.  Luschka joint hypertrophy causes neural foramen encroachment bilaterally at this level.(2) there is mild bilateral neural foramen encroachment @ C3-4, (L)sided neural foramen encroachment @ C4-5 & C6-7 due to Luschka joint hypertrophy.  No focal herniation.  No cord effacement.

The problem of hypertrophy, bulging, ridging etc can only be treated by surgery. Traction, physiotherapy, medication etc can help lift the compression to some extent. Please consult a neurologist. Hope this helps. Take care!

not sure your question?  But sounds like you need a lamenectomy to lessen the pressure that in itself can make it much worse the longer you wait
