Hey. Does your boyfriend drink a lot of coffee or take caffeine pills? Caffeine can lower circulation to your extremities (hands and feet). I used to drink tons of coffee and I would always have cold hands and feet, even in the summer. I stopped drinking coffee and I've noticed my hands/feet have gotten warmer.

Caffeine pills can also cause tremors and other heart-related issues. If your boyfriend takes a lot of caffeine pills - or takes them every day/night when he drives - they might be catching up to him. Generally, 1 caffeine pill equals 2 cups of coffee, so he should really be careful. No accidents please.

Hse doesn't do any kind of drugs, he went to the clinic and they did all vitals it was good but they didn't no why his hand's were cold the Dr said he might not be getting circulation from some where then told him to go to the ER so now he's there waiting to be called. Im just worried because he does truck driving and he's all the way in Utah and I'm California so hopefully everything is okay I pray

Hi!  I recently read an article from mayo clinic which talked about cold hands upon awaking being nothing more than the body trying to regulate its' tempreature.  However, there are other things which could cause the shaking and that could be any thing from asthma, anxiety or, drugs. There is also the possibility of vascular problems.   Did he take his tempreature?  If he continues to do this  I would tell him to see his doc. otherwise I would not get upset about it.
