Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Dizziness after giving birth can be due to low or high blood pressure, clots in lungs or brain (this happens post cesarean), hypoglycemia, and hormonal changes.
Hope this helps. Take care!

How long ago did you give birth? Are you currently breast feeding? I know that your pregnancy hormones can stay with you for nearly a year after birth, especially if you are breast feeding, as this demands your body to produce milk using these hormones. Could be your hormones balancing themselves back out. Or you may just have a completely seperate equalibrium problem. If it continues you should see a doctor.

I would have to say functional because not everyone feels normal after giving birth to a child. I would do research.
