Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or copd,is one of the most common lung diseases. When we breathe in , our lungs provide us with oxygen. However in this case, the lungs have become permanently damaged and the airways are constantly narrowed. Making it harder to breathe. Similar to Athma, some your symthoms will include
- cough
-Fatigue
-Many Respitory Infections
-Shortness of Breath (dyspnea) that gets worse with mild activity
-Trouble catching ones breathe or wheezing.
Because the symptoms of COPD develpd slowly, some people may not know that they are sick.
The best test for COPD is a Lung Function Test called Spirometry

Hi Jenny,
did they explain to you that asthma is a part of COPD?
If you smoke I would suggest to stop now. I know they tell us this stuff all the time but that is the worst thing you can have is COPD. My mother and her mother and all of her sisters died from it and I watched them all and I still smoke. this is a really bad bad disease. You deff want to have inhalers with you at all times.
