It is of course an intial thought now when you mention it, but I don't know much about virology.

The RSV affects infants much more than an adult. It is contageous. In adults, it might give pretty inagressive symptoms though: a common cold, mild headache, cough, fever, and a general feeling of being ill. I should mention that respiratory symptoms are present too.
An adult can fight this virus without meds.

Still, I haven't really heard of nausea along with a common cold but I'd ask for a sample to see if it is bacterial or viral, and if bacterial - what kind of bacteria it is, even if RSV is viral.

Are you on any other kinds of medications that could cause this?

Have you recently had any infections in the body, such as ear infection or throat infection?

Does the nausea come with other symptoms as feeling dizzy or fainting?

Congrats on the baby btw!
