Do I give up or do i keep working at a solution

For the medical community,
What do you think a person should do when each medical person you go to agrees that there is a  issue with inflammation in the face and neck, agrees that there has been hives, and agrees that there is something causing it, but don't know what.  Each medical person only looks at their one area and nothing else.  Once they determine it isn't their area or least they believe it isn't in their area, they are done. I have gone full circle with Family practice, neurologist, rheumotoid, dermatologist, and allergist.
I take medicine to releave symptoms that are causing nerve pain, painful joints and muscles, and allergies and potential allergies.
I am not a crazy person and I am not just going to doctors for the sake of going to doctors.  Each time i go to a new doctor as a referal, I have so much hope for a solution and just end up more disappointed.  Too much time spent for the little bit of information i have found out.
Should i continue to pursue a solution or should i just give up.

Are you one?  What benefits do you see from going to one?

Thanks,
Ann

Sounds like an overactive immune system.  There are many diseases that cause overactive immune systems.  Try an infectious disease doctor.  My mom and members of our family have sarcoidosis, which is an overactive immune system disease.  My mom seen an infectious disease doctor for this.
