I would imagine that you also had the thyroid test. The bluging eyes is a symptoms of hyperactive thyroid, which can be very dangerous.
Here's a website for the symptoms of Graves disease: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/graves-disease/DS00181/DSECTION=symptoms
Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
Get your blood pressure checked. A high BP can cause the above possibilities. Internal ear problems and TMJ should also be looked into. A third possibility is thoracic outlet syndrome.
You are also having dysguesia i.e bitter or bad taste in mouth. It can be due to dental caries, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, sinusitis causing post nasal drip, salivary glands infection, pharyngitis or strep infection, medications like antibiotics, vitamins and antidepressants, poor oral hygiene, copper or lead toxicity and Sjogren’s syndrome. Some of these like sinusitis causing post nasal drip, salivary glands infection, pharyngitis or strep infection can cause facial flushing, swollen glands and a run down feeling.
I think you should discuss these possibilities with your doctor. It is difficult to comment beyond this without examining. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Ive had my thyroid and blood pressure checked and they were normal. the most recent test had a slight high number for liver function, but they want to wait a few weeks to see if it changes.
Any ideas on what that could mean?
Hi

If you are in the post menopausal age group then your symptoms can also be explained by changing hormone levels. Sometimes these symptoms are also seen in women not in the menopausal age group. Hence the complete hormone assay is a must.
Liver enzymes and cholesterol is increased in a number of problems. It is difficult to comment like this. If your doctor wants to wait and see, they must not be alarmingly high.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
Hi,
Still having the symptoms, but some changes in what im suspecting. Could it be my salivary glands that are swelling? right in front of ears, and behing jaw?\ with pain and pressure in eys, jaw and ears. Sometimes it seems there is a stringy substannce along my cheaks. Should i see a dentist, or an ear/nose/throat doctor?
Any other possibliliies what that could be about? Thanks so much,
