help

Sat afternoon while working at costco as a demo lady  I felt weak, dizzy lightheaded, lost control of my bowels, sweats and chills, it lasted for several minutes and scared me.  I did have a smalll bowl of oatmeal for breakfast and 2 lattes.  I am usually healthy, however lately I have had tinglilng in my fingers when I stand up I often feel dizzy.  I just had my top teeth pulled out and have new dentures.  Just had cataract surgery on both eyes but no side effects from any of that.  I do have troulble sleeping at night but I am most worried about the dizzy, sweating and uncontrolab le bowls.

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
This could have been an attack of epilepsy, even though you may not have had actual fits. Hypoglycemia or very low blood pressure with vaso-vagal attack could be another possibility. If you pass out due to claustrophobia, severe anemia, hormonal changes or due to dizziness caused by cervical spondylosis, then also you can lose bowel control.
It is difficult to diagnose on net. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!

Normal to have in Costco. The air there is really awful. A cold 250ml pure citrius green tea drink or gingko ginger ale will help. Also, eating less at night help. Bowls can be reduced by Pom X. Avoid doing risky jobs. Sweating reduced by resting on temperature regulative machine such as air filters. Or bring Dyson's fan to work.
