spacey feeling in head ALL THE TIME(detached from the world)

iv done everything possible i can think of to figure out whats wrong. im just 20 years old and i dont see a life in my future. i was the happiest person, new apt, amazing boyfriend EVERYTHING. now im moving home and quiting my job because of this. this all started when i felt to full so i went to vomit, i didnt acually end up vomiting though. i was dry heaving over and over so hard (i dont know why) then all of a sudden the feeling came on and never went away. doctors say that heaving can not cause this feeling or hurt anything in he body. they say it is anxiety but how? how does heaving cause 24/7 anxiety and how because i didnt have anxiety then (do now) please help me. all i do is cry and im scared to death that i wont ever feel normal again and i cant have my life back. im lossing everything because of this feeling. i would rather have cancer or anything than this honestly. to no whats wrong and at least try to fix it rather than having no idea why yuo feel the way you do. i know i sound crazy and depressed ( i am now) but what would you do if you have everything you ever wanted then it all got taken from you? i cant live like this anymore and i wont so i need to find something wrong or i need someone to tell me how to make this "anxiety" go away. i am taking anxiety meds because i wont cross anything out that im not 100 percent on or that could make this go away.

"I find myself regarding existence as though from beyond the tomb, from another world; all is strange to me; I am, as it were, outside my own body and individuality; I am depersonalized, detached, cut adrift".
Henri Frédéric Amiel in The Journal Intime. The July 8, 1880.
This describes Depersonalization disorder (DPD) which is a dissociative disorder.
This is a variant anxiety state and treatable.ok?
Best wishes.

i dont believe that i am dizzy. my main symptoms are the spacey/out if it feeling 24/7 (feels like i know im here but not totally) its hard to explain and doctors looks at me funny when i say it, like they have never heard of it before. another symptom that is all the time are my eyes, they are tired and heavy ALL the time which probably is making the spaciness worse. my jaw gets a little sore or tight but i dont know if that from whatevers going on or what. all i know is this all happened all at once in the middle of my dry heaving :/ i cant stand this anymore. im scared this wont ever go away. so many people i see on here with the same problems have had it for 3, 7 or 30 years. thats not a life to me so why life it? but i want to live again soooo bad  :(

Good day! I can't answer all of your question but I did make a little research about heaves. Your stomach is retching [having spasms] and you haven't eaten so there's nothing to "throw up"

When able:

The mainstay of home treatment is to drink fluids. Fluid intake helps correct electrolyte imbalance, which may stop vomiting. This means drinking fluids, which may be the farthest thing from your mind. But it is vital to prevent yourself from becoming dehydrated from fluid loss.

Start with small amounts, such as 4-8 ounces at a time for adults and 1 ounce or less at a time for children. Only use clear liquids (such as clear soup broth, juice, lemon-lime soda). If you're not sure if it's clear, put the liquid in a clear glass bowl and try to read something through it. If you can't read, it's not clear.

Avoid milk and any dairy products. They can make your nausea and vomiting worse.

Work your way up to soft foods, gelatin, oatmeal, yogurt, and similar soft foods and go back to liquids if the nausea and vomiting return.

Good luck and take care! Feeling depresses willl be of no help. Try talking to those people who mean to you and find inspiration and strength in them. Take care.

The anxiety wasn't caused by the dry heaving, it's the reverse of that. The doctor's diagnosis does sound accurate and you have to think, medications used for depression and anxiety take time to effect a person, some up to a couple of weeks. It also sounds like you have developed depression. The only thing I could suggest is to have your doctor prescribe you anti-anxiety and anti-depressants along with seeing a psychologist regularly. Yoga, or meditation has helped people with both issues exponentially and might help with your situation.

keep trying doctors until you find one who will actually help you.  You are not crazy, don't let them make you feel like you are.  Also try different anxiety/depression meds with your doctor until you find one(several) that works for you.  Everyone is different, and it may take 2 or more.  Do you have any other symptoms?  Breathing problems, shaking, dizziness, sore muscles, sore joints, sleeping too much, or unable to sleep?  Write down every single symptom no matter how insignificant you think it is and take it with you to your doctor.  There are many, many diseases, or even just vitamin deficiencies that can cause a myriad of problems.  Don't give up, and surround yourself with people who love you and can help get you through.
