Pain right below rib cage feels like something is going to blow up

Hi,

Lately I've been having these very weird pains on the right side of my rib cage, its right below it, not covered by the rib cage, I've noticed that it happens when I stretch then oh no here it comes it feels like something inside is moving slightly around and like its going to blow up, it feels like a minty feeling inside once the pain is all gone, the longest I've ever had it was for about 40 minutes it was on and off maybe a two minute brake then it came back for about 5 minutes, its an unbareable pain!! I haven't felt anything these past few days but I'm scared for it to come back, I've had this before last time was about 3 months ago but it was not this bad, any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

I also agree that it sounds like your gallbladder. I had attacks on and off for 5 yrs. before they finally found the problem. I had endoscopies and biopsies of my stomach, an ultrasound, and a HIDA scan. The scan is what showed my gallbladder was only pumping at 15% instead of the 50% it was supposed to.

Sounds like gallbladder attacks.  I would recommend consulting your physician ASAP about this.
