Help!! Sick for 4 years!

I'm 16 years old. For 4 years now I have had stomach problems. I wake up in the morning from nausea, not long after i get diarrhea, my whole pelvic area feels like its in knots, along with my abdomen. Most of the time i will retch for about 20 minutes throwing up white foam or stomach bile. Up until the middle of the day i feel really week, have no appetite, and cant eat without getting nauseous. Throughout the day i get horrible pains in my upper right quadrant. Underneath my right rib cage. my joints are always sore, and my right side of my back and shoulder, (parallel to my gallbladder), gets really sore with a hot stinging sensation. I have been to a GI doctor and had 2 upper endoscopy's, a flex sig, and a colon endoscopy. Nothing came back besides ulcers. I had a hyda scan done, and my gallbladder is functioning correctly. I also had an xray to check for malrotation, which was negative. I have been checked for celiac disease and crohns but nothing showed. I also have a low grade fever every day. Can someone please give me some direction as to what this could be?

I have already been checked for that as well, i have even been taking pills to coat the lining of my stomach to help the ulcers, but it hasn't helped at all.

Courtney,  I was a little surprised to see you say "nothing came back except ulcers."

Ulcers can be SO painful.  It sounds like you might have ulcerative colitis,  which could encompass virtually all your symptoms,  including the fever and vomiting.

Was anything done to cure your ulcers?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
It could be due to food allergy. Keep a stress diary. Log in the food intake and the symptoms as they appear. See if there is a correlation between a particular food item and symptoms.
Also Crohn's is very difficult to diagnose. Along with gut symptoms skin disorders and arthritis too are commonly seen with Crohn’s. An upper GI series using barium dye is done to see the condition of small intestines. The degree of involvement of the large and small intestine may vary from person to person.  A biopsy is the most confirmatory. An elevated ESR, low protein, minerals and iron in blood are the other findings in Crohn’s which may or may not be present. A recent advancement in Crohn’s diagnosis is video capsule endoscopy. This is one possibility you must seriously consider. Please discuss with your GI doctor. Take care!

What about an inflammed colon? I had that and the symptoms sound similiar to what you are describing, it is very painful and it is hard to keep anything down or in. Good luck.
