please help

I been feeling ill for the last 3 or 4 months. It started with feeling off balance then abdominal pain. I have been to doctor after doctor and everything seem to come back clean. But my body is telling me something is not right.

list of symptom.

hard to swallow or feels like something is in my throat, my voice even gets hoarse. (ent said everything looks find) but of coarse it didn't do while I was at the doctors.

muscle spasm all over my body for years but have become daily all day. In the last 2 week my thigh muscle seem to cramp in both legs. spasm even in my face even my tongue.

ringing in my ears both at different times, however.

when standing steal I feel as though I have to sway left to right to maintain my balance and I find my self shuffling my feet sometime when I walk to maintain my balance.

eye sight is becoming more worse, I have started seeing flashing white dots in both eye but the left eye sight is the worst.

abdominal pain right under rib cage on right side. Liver and Kidney test normal.

I have been suffering from low White blood count since this all begin. In particularly low lymphocytes and high monocytes. Had bone marrow biopsy and aspiration. Doc said it was good.

feel of balance sometimes when I walk.

loss of appetite

I loss about 28lbs from oct,2010 to jan5,2011. I have gain about 8lbs back since then probably for the prednisone.

I recent started have hard time remembering  things, and consideration.

I had a positive ANA test which my Rheumy suggested Lupus. However all sub test for lupus came back negative. Still taking 20mg of prednisone until my appt. on 2/8/11.

On top of all this I think I am getting depressed because I can feel something is not right with my body and no one seem to be able to help me. I just pray live day to day. Please if you have any suggestion please let me know.

Doctors I have seen.

cadio doctor--- stress test normal
Rumey-------positive AnA test, all else normal
Hematologist------bone marrow biopsy and aspiration normal
GI doctor----------- Endo and Colon scope normal
ENT------------ swallowing test normal,
MRI of head and back was normal
8 chest and abdominal Xrays normal
2head and throat ct scan w\ without contrast normal
2CT scan of abdomen with oral and intravenous contrast normal
Hida scan of gallbladder normal.
even a scan that looks for infection in the body.

I had a cyst on my pituitary gland when I was younger, but the Nero doc said my MRI was normal.

I have been through the ringer and still I am sick with no answers. All they can say is we don't understand why you feel the way you do or why your wbc is like it is. I am tired and I just want some answer.

Sorry for the long post I am just so  upset I am crying as I am typing this.

Thanks in advance

Just left my rhuemy. I am diagnosed with lupus. Positive high ana test, with positive ssa and ssb. Everything else negative( dsDNA, SM,). Which is good I guess so the doc tells me. I been having nerve issues I believe is thus common with lupus. I am in dis believe and its like a dark cloud is hanging over me. I just want to crying some more but my family is giving me a hard time. I know they're right, and I am grateful that it us a mild form of lupus and not lifethreating or worst cancer. But it is still hard coming to grip with the fact I have a chronic illness. I have always had health anxieties probably because I always knew something wasn't right. I am having a hard time accepting this illness any suggestions on how to cope.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
I would suggest you get the blood levels of the following checked if they have not already been checked: potassium, calcium, sodium, magnesium, vitamin B complex, or vitamins B1, B3, or B6 and Vitamin D. Generally deficiencies of any of the above can cause muscle twitching and spasms in localized or generalized areas of the body. Get your kidney function, parathyroid gland function and adrenal function tests done because these affect the electrolyte balance in the body. Stress, alcohol, caffeine and fatigue all cause similar symptoms. Hence if you take alcohol or coffee then cut this down. Sleep at regular hours and see if it helps. Certain sleep disorders and peripheral nerve disorders due to diabetes or hypothyroidism can also be the cause. Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!
