short term memory

hey guys, I was diagnosed with short term memory back in high school...teachers were made aware of this issue & I was given extra time to take tests/study.  A few years have passed since then, but I find that I seem to be forgetting things quicker than I used to.  For instance, I couldnt even remember the name of a movie I saw with my friend two days ago or our conversation....sometimes conversations hours after they have occurred.  is there anythinng I can do to help improve my memory???

..I am a little apprehensive about taking medications because of the side effects of course. However, I will be talking with  my doctor about these concerns & will hopefully come to some conclusion. Thank you for your thoughts & time.

Doctors suggest taking supplements such as MSM, Ashwagndha, B Complex vitamins, cell salts,  flaxseed, ginko biloba, Vit. C, Ginseng, L-carnitine, zinc or phosphatidylserine and phytonutrients.  - brain exercises such as Word Finds, crossword puzzles, etc.
Sorry the list is so long, but since it's a "brain" function problem and everybody is different, you might have to try several  to find the one that's right for you.  it might be a combination that works...
