strange odor

I have been experiencing an unpleasant odor  for a while. I only get it on public transportation; the train and bus. It is very stressful and I have tried every known home remedy with no success. It is also very strange since it only happens on transportation, nowhere else. I have seen a doctor and she is out of ideas. I dont want to have this forever.

Can someone help me please?

Hi
Welcome to the forum!
Yes, the odor is strange indeed. There is a chance that you are highly sensitive to smell of human sweat. In public transport and with many people around, even in cold climate, some sweating is expected. You would probably need to mask that smell with something else like a scented tissue or handkerchief.
Another possibility is that you experienced the smell in a particular transport, found it repulsive and now the mind associates that smell with every public transport. You can consult a psychiatrist regarding this. A discussion with the psychiatrist can be helpful at reaching the cause for your symptoms.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
