strange pain while sitting in chairs

If anyone could please help it would be greatly appreciated. I'm a 17 year old male.  For about 3 weeks now, every time i sit down in a chair, or a position like it for an extended period of time, i begin to feel a throbbing in my front left thigh.  it feels almost like a growing pain but much more intense and painful.  this problem has been bothering me to such an extent that i have to stand up and leave classes so i can relieve the pain. its literally beginning to make my grades drop because i can no longer pay attention.  i dont know what to do at this point, i dont have access to a doctor. thank you to anyone who can help, i really need it.

yes and a good therapeutic massage therapist would be able to release that trapped nerve and tight muscle.
