worried about pancreatic cancer

Im 34yr old male with Urq disc.&occ floating stool for almost a year. my gastro and primary gave me following tests: normal stool tests(checked everything even fecal fat but not the 72hr one),abdominal and pelvic ct scan w/ contrast (normal),colonoscopy (normal),ultra sound of gallbladder (normal),hida scan (normal), cbc (normal) chest xray (normal), metabolic panel (normal),upper endoscopy (biopsies negative but diagnosed with gerd and mild gastritis).  now just had yearly physical and everything was fine. Nobody seems concerened but me. the only answer i get is ibs (but im not D or C) doesnt make sense to me. been to both therapist and physciatrist for hypochondria (everyone says its in my head). i feel like i exhausted all my options.     WHAT I NEED TO KNOW IS CAN I FINALLY RELAX ABOUT PANCREATIC CANCER?

I think it's unlikely that you have pancreatic cancer. Even though your gall bladder test may have come back normal, doesn't mean that it's doing it's job normally. Mine was bad for years and I would occasionally suffer with the symptoms that you have. Tests always came back normal, but it wasn't.The gall bladder was taken out about 17 years ago, and I still have the same problems. I don't have them all the time, mostly in the spring and fall, but they still happen. I too have gerd, and also a hiatal hernia. Allot of times when my stomach gets upset like this, I have nasty burps too. Stay away from greasy foods, and too much dairy. From what I have read, floating stool usually means that your stomach isn't digesting fats very well. Hope this helps and good luck!

Yes... stop worrying about Pancreatic cancer... if you had it you would have severe diabetes.  I suffer from GERD, heartburn, gastritis, and IBS.  It got so bad that I had a fundiplication. (upper stomach stapled to my esophagus) to stop the burning.  Well, I was fine for a few months - now it's back and I am looking for relief wherever I can find it!!  Am thinking seriously about having the surgery reversed... Meanwhile, I am taking cinnamon with honey, Goldenseal,  Baking soda, and sometimes something called Nux Vomica.   All of these bring temporary relief... key word being temporary....  I can't tell you how many endoscopies I've had... too many.  All show inflammation of the esophagus.  Even after the surgery.  - Guess we're doomed to suffer with stomach problems.... Oh, by the way eating cabbage or coleslaw helps temporarily also.  If I ever find a cure, I will let you know!
