vaginal bleeding during bowel movement????

((Sorry for the details that I am about to reveal)) The other night when I was having a bowel movement, when I wiped, there was a decent amount of bright red blood. (It was definitely vaginal) But it was only when I wiped. It disappeared completely until the next time I had a bowel movement and lasted for 4 bowel movements. Each time the blood got darker and darker. (Older looking) Then this morning when I woke up there was very dark red blood in my underwear, so I put in a tampon thinking that it was maybe an early period. ( Even though it's only cd24 and I'm not due for my period until AT LEAST another 4 days.) I have had some cramping but I'm pretty sure that's normal for this time of the month. What could cause this? Has anyone else had this before?

You may have piles. It may seem the blood is coming from your vagina, but its could be coming from your anus. I have the same prob my piles bleed after some bowel movement. Let your GP now as there is treatment for piles. I am using anusol. Hope this helps xx

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
If you have vaginal bleeding with bowel movement then this could be due to endometriosis or due to vaginal infection which can be a STD or a non STD infection. Do discuss this with your gynecologist and get yourself examined. You will need a CT scan, PAP and vaginal swab test to begin with.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!

It may just be some spotting.  This can be caused by many things.  If you have not seen your gynocologist in a while it is best to make an appointment. Could be a hormonal imbalance, could be a cyst that burst, could be many things.  It is best to have it checked out.  Don't be scared.  There really are a lot of things that can cause that.  Just go in and rule out the serious things just to be sure.
