why do I have a rash on my brest...

Why do I have a rash on my breast?
Earlier this year I had two light grey-purple spots on my right brest wich turned into small moles.
I asked my mum and she said theirs nothing wrong.
Then I got tiny small bumpy skin about half a cm that was itcy an red below my right breast.
I asked again and I got told it could of been my bras. I used cream and it didnt work and its still their after 3 months but light.
I wanted to go to the doctors but I keep getting told stop beeing silly.
About a few days ago I got a light-grey purple spot again but on my left brest now and that is changing colour too.
Then yesterday on my right brest by the centre of my chest I got a rash about 1 cm wich is still their. I was about to ask my mum but before I could finish she just said 'Its just a spot' wich its not, its a rash... Can I use any creams to help or am I just beeing stupid?
I wanted to go to the doctors just to make sure. I am 18 years old and wanted to know if this is something to go to the doctors about or not? Thanks.

People often ignore skin changes on their breasts that they should not.  That's because inflammatory breast cancer can cause skin changes.  Fortunately what you are describing does not sound like inflammatory breast cancer.  What would be of concern would be bright red areas on the breast or skin the texture of the skin of an orange (with distinctly enlarged pores).  Here are some pics to help you decide for yourself:

Hello again, oops, sorry forgot to add.  If this does not relieve the problem or it worsens, by all means you should go see your doctor to determine the exact cause.

Have A Wonderful Day.

Hello no you are NOT being stupid, anything that causes a person unnecessary stress and anxiety warrants a conclusion.  The purple areas you are getting are not uncommon, they are little capillaries that have ruptured under the skin and a lot of people get them, especially women.    They can be caused by being pinched by your bra, pinching the area when turning your bra to put it on,  or other minor trauma to any area such as scratching, but are generally seen on the breast.  They may fade slightly but generally remain throughout your lifetime.

The itchy area you have may be yeast that has formed. When wearing bras for along time the breast sweats and that makes an idea environment for yeast to grow.(warm, dark, moist).

You can try using some over the counter treatment like Monistate or Miconizale which is generally used for vaginal yeast infections and rub a small amount on the area a couple of times a day to see if that gets rid of it.    Make sure you clean your breasts and dry thoroughly prior to each application, and wash your hands well afterwards. Other over the counter topical creams, if not design to treat yeast will not get rid of it, if it is in fact the cause.

Other causes could be a reaction to any change in bath or laundry soap, dryer sheet changes, or a reaction to bleach being used in the wash.  Try hand washing your bras in mild laundry-that you have used in the past, no bleach, rinse well and hang in the shower or somewhere else to dry.

I Hope This Helps

I think you should definitely go to the doctor. I'm not all too sure about what it could be, but it doesn't sound like something that is life threatening. A doctor can help you figure out what it is and then give you medicine or some kind of cream to get rid of it.

It's your health and well-being we are talking about here so you are not being "stupid".If you are concerned and these rashes and lumps are worrying you, put your mind at ease and go to the doctors. At least you will know if there is/is not a problem! Good luck
