Blue penis

I was wearing adult diapers for about 3 years and severely irritated my penis. I have stopped wearing the diapers for the past 6 months. I now have red blotches that look like scars that will not go away. I also recently noticed that there is a section of the head of the penis that is blue. Does anyone know how to cure the blotches/scarring and what could be causing the blue discoloration? I am really concerned. I am supposed to see a urologist this week.

Thanks for the reply. Could this also be Zoon's Balanitis or Queyrat?

Hi

What was the reason for the prolonged use of diapers? Have you been experiencing urinary incontinence all these years?

The blue discoloration may be a skin reaction to the moisture and dampness of the diapers. It may be an allergic condition or a vascular condition. At this point, a complete urologic examination is important. We have to determine if this is just a superficial skin problem or if it involves deeper structures such as penile blood vessels.

A penile ultrasound may be done.
