peeing blood with no pain
I have been peeing blood for over a year now. I have been to the ER for this and they did a urine test, blood test, and a CT scan. They found nothing wrong or abnormal with the CT scan. The blood test came back normal ( no infections, std's, or anything else. But the urine test had a RBC of 56. They gave me antibiotics just incase they miss an infection then sent me home with no answers except for saying there is obviously something wrong. I took the antibiotics and they didn't work, im still peeing blood.
I don't pee blood all the time, its off and on. Sometimes it happens once during the day then the rest of the day my urine is clear. Sometimes ill have blood all day then go a couple weeks without. Sometimes it can last a few days then weeks without. The blood normally comes out at the end of the urine stream. Usually the last litte bit of urine that squeezes out at the end will be blood or just few little drops of blood at the end. Occasionally at mid stream to the end or throughout the entire stream will be blood. But mostly just at the very end. Rarely there will be clots ranging from small to large. And there is no pain or burning when I pee blood even when there are clots.
Again the ER found nothing wrong including no infections, no stones, and no std's.
I am a 38 yr old male. I smoke about 1 to 1 1/2 packs of cigarettes per day. I have worked as a Machinist over the past 5 years untill I got layed off about a month ago. I take no medications, I don't exercise, and dont have the best diet. Thank you.

If antibiotics didn't affect it, I'd probably want to try antifungals next.
Does unsweetened cranberry juice help? It's pretty useful for minor yeast infections (and other microbes to a lesser extent).

Other symptoms I have had but im not sure if they are related to blood in urine are: Lightheaded spells, lower abdominal pain ( not just while urinating ), feeling week and worn out, and I don't weight myself but my friend and his wife said that I look like im loosing weight. They said that they can see it in my face, and im already skinny. Any skinnier and i'll be transparent.
