Sounds like you had some sort of an infection, but not fungal.
Erythromicin does not treat fungal infections.
Glad to hear that you are fine.
Best wishes.
Thanls guys i took a course of erythromicin and all cleared up in a few days. I have now been a month without any more problems and fingers crossed itll stay this way! I still dont know tge underlying cause for this but if it happens again i will be sure to take your advice. Many thanks again :)
It may be a good idea to go back to your doctor and explain what you are experiencing.
Ask if a swab can be taken.
You may have Thrush or bacterial vaginosis. A swab will be able to identify if you have any fungus or bacteria and this can then be treated appropriately.
Make sure that you drink plenty of water. 2-3 litres per day is recommended. Do not wash down below with soaps and shower gels and do not wear tights or tight clothing. Wear cotton underwear.
Best wishes.
Hi,
How are you? Was there history of trauma or injury? If urine tests ruled out infection, then the pain could be due to other issues such as urethritis or other urological issues. If it persists, further evaluation may need to be done. Additional diagnostic tests may be indicated. Talk to your doctor about this. Seeking another doctor's opinion may also help. Direct clinical examination is essential. Take care and do keep us posted.
