Deficiency of Vit. B12

I have received blood test report. I have normal CBC, homocysteine, LFT, KFT, Thiroid, Vit. D. The Vit. B12 level is 544 pg/ml. I have headache, poor memory, back pain and sometimes burning sensation at back side. Let me know that may I have normal Vit. B12 level or required suppliment

To quote Sally M. Pacholok and Jeffrey J. Stuart who wrote the book Could It Be B12?: An Epidemic of Misdiagnoses…

“At this time, we believe normal serum B12 levels should be greater than 550 pg/ml. For brain and nervous system health and prevention of disease in older adults, serum B12 levels should be maintained near or above 1000 pg/ml.”

In how many days I recover from symptoms. Currently I am taking 1500 mcg tablet per day.
My memory started to improved after a month of B12. The nerve damage in my arm/hand that showed up in the months prior to starting B12 took a year to improve 90%.
