Yes they do!!!!
Mostly I can't wait for my in-laws to see me skinny again so that is one more thing I can say see I can accomplish anything I want without your help!! I know I know another wrong reason but if it keeps me on track then that is what I am going to use.
Hey Lonelymom, I like your carrot. It is great when you look & feel good - people just look at you and smile, don't they......
I have to have good support. (like what I get on here) and the carrott at the end. For me the carrott will be the look on everyone's face when I get skinny again.
I also need someone there telling me how great I am doing and prodding me to continue.
I just need to set realistic goals and I will keep moving forward!
The carrot is good sometimes, but when the chips are down (no pun intended), I really need the stick. I hope it's something like a riding crop for horses.....that should do the trick! ; )
I usually do ok with a realistic goal and a realistic solution - yep, I'm a real realist... lol
I won't say that I haven't gotten discouraged and derailed because as we all know, I did just a few weeks ago. Now that I got my new med and things have kind of turned around, I have renewed hope (that 5 pounds I lost last month didn't hurt anything)!!
AND....what better occasion could there be to hit it full throttle again than to celebrate twehner5's last 9 pounds. And visions of Skailark dancing in his tutu and ballerina slippers - wow that was just the nudge I needed to get back on it again!!
Well, as you could probably guess, I need a little of both. That's why I set up my "final push" with both motivators built into it. You guys are SUCH FUN! I never dreamed it would be this much fun working on the last *dreaded* pounds. With all this *help*, well, WOW. What a difference. I don't feel like I'm just going to run out of gas and coast to my last stop.......
I need a stick and someone to keep pushing me forward
