3 servings of dairy/day has been shown to help with weight loss. Try to stay with low/no fat varieties. Milk is actually quite low in carbs and it's an excellent course of protein, calcium and vitamin B12. Other dairy products, such as fat free yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, etc are all good for you.
Try substituting your milk with unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk. They have less carbs overall.
