Any tips?

Hi everyone! I'm 24yo, 5foot 7in tall and I think I weigh around 185lbs. Today is my first day of clean healthy eating and I'll do my best to try and exercise at least every other day. I have 12 months to lose 45-50lbs in order to go back to a healthy weight-BMI. Do you think that's an achievable goal? I want to go back to looking, feeling and being healthy plus my partner and I are looking to start TTC around this time next year. So any tips on how to make this journey easier and effective are very welcomed! Thank you all.

I think 50 pounds in 12 months is perfectly doable! I had my son in July and started Eating Clean in September. So far, I have lost 25 pounds :) The one advantage you have over me is that you are much younger, lol!

Some things I do are avoid white bread, sugar, and processed foods. Cinnamon is a metabolism booster so I put it on air-popped popcorn, oatmeal, and toast. Another thing that I read was good for weight loss is coconut oil...so good!  I use it on everything! I put flaxseed in my smoothies everyday and sometimes chia seed. I eat raw almonds for a crunchy snack. I drink Bod.e Burn before I exercise though I usually just take a long walk. Just get up and move! Remember to eat every 3 hours...a lean protein, a complex carb, and a healthy fat! Drink lots of water...I can't stress that enough!!!

Well, that's just a few things I have accumulated in my daily lifestyle. I know you can do it! Just take it one day at a time! And, don't forget to have a cheat day every weekend!
