Depression and Phentrmine

Does anyone know if the diet pill Phentermine causes depression?

I agree with msme7..................except, maybe you need to come down off it slowly, rather than "cold turkey".  Talk to your doctor.............

yes it does it causes many things.. its legal speed basically, its almost like any other drug when u stop or even when ur on it u go in to a phaze of depression, it pumps u up so u know what goes up must come down.. if ur really depressed stop taking it and give it some time to heal and you will feel better

I am not fully versed on the full range of possible side effects from the medication Phentermine.  I would suggest perhaps having a conversation with your pharmacist and your prescribing physician about any symptoms that might be attributed to taking this medication.  Best of luck in this regard and please be sure to visit our community and update us as to how you are feeling.
