Do you think how much I'm dieting may be what caused me to black out the other day???

The day befor yesterday I was going for a bath and I stood up to fast geting up to change the song on my iPod and I think I blacked out. I'm not sure but I think I did because I don't remember falling. I had gotten out of the tub a few minutes earlyer as well and Attis up to fast and almost blacked out. May have blacked out both times not sure! But do you think this is connected to me trying to lose weight even though I have had problems with lightheadedness and standing up tofast for over year since befor I started dieting??? I am 5 foot 19 and 150lbs my goal is 132 because that's the lowest I can go for my hight and still be healthy, though really I just want a flat stumic. I started dieting in late May or early June then in early July I desired I was going to stop eating all together except for Donne because I knew my Mum wasent going to let me skip dinner. Anyways that only lasted 2 days because I read it would slow down my matabalizm and I would gain weight in the long run. So after that I kinda frogot about my weight until last Thursday when I weighed my self and I've lost 6lbs. So since Thursday all I've been able to think of is how to keep the weight off and lose more so I started doing a intense hour work out everynight. Make sure I wear a sweater and a rober during it so I sweat more so I'll lose more weight. I also drink 3 HUGE mugs of water durin the work out. Though I was not able to the work out the night befor the black out because the system was not working so I also dident drink any water that night and hadent had brekfest yet that morning. So my question is do you think my dieting may of coused me to black out???

I answered your weight issues in your other post.

If you skip meals and don't keep your blood sugar stable, it's very possible to black out. I'm not saying that's what happened, just that it's possible.  Feeling somewhat light headed is not uncommon when we stand up too fast, as that can create a rapid decrease of blood flow to the brain; completely blacking out is not normal, no matter what; however, f this is a common issue with you, you should let your mom know in case you need medical care.

Your body needs a certain number of calories every day, just to function; therefore, if you don't provide enough calories and proper nutrients, you will not stay healthy, even if your weight is "normal" for your height.  In fact, if you don't eat enough calories each day, your body will actually hold on to the fat you have because it thinks there won't be enough food coming in.

Sweating more, isn't helping you lose more fat, you are simply losing body fluid.  I'm happy to hear that you drink plenty during your workout or you would become dehydrated, which is just as bad (or worse) for you as not eating.  A less intense workout routine, with a healthy diet will do you a lot more good.

I can't stress enough, the necessity of discussing this with your mom or another trusted adult in case you do need medical care.
