If you drink soda, you can drop quite a bit of weight, just eliminating that. Make water your drink of choice.
I'm glad you've rethought your options and are going to eat more calories, since I agree that only 800 is basically starvation. I think you'll like MyDietDiary and that it will help you.

You are So welcome. 1300 sounds good. You will be surprised how quickly that scale will move especially if you're exercising. Stay focused you can do this!
I started my 'program' today and I didn't think I was going to make it through the day on only 800cal I was starving because I was trying to leave enough calories for my dinner that evening! SO I downloaded this amazing app called MyDietDiary (run by MedHelp) and it's told me I should have 1632cal which will help me get my weight down in a healthier way. Admittedly, I'll only have about 1300cal but if I go over it's okay! Thank you for your help
I weigh 171.5lbs currently, Im aware of the possible risks but Im that desperate to lose it, luckily in my house if I pass dinner because I think there are too many calories in it(example) my parents won't question me, calorie counting is super easy. My mum knows Im doing this but she's not aware of my calorie restrictions, maximum 800 calories. She's supporting me though because Im pairing exercise with my diet, thank you for your response though

If you loose that much you will easily be a size 8/10. I'm 5 7 and want to loose 28 pound at the moment I'm 12/14 and will be 10 at my goal weight of 9' 7lb
What's your current weight? 40 lbs is a lot to lose for a 14 yr old. Your body isn't developed fully and losing that much weight, could put extra burden on it.
Have you talked with your parents to make sure they are on board for an undertaking of this type, since I assume they will have to buy/prepare the food.
