I now eat a smaller meal every 3 hours and drink green tea to boost my metabolism, it naturally supresses your appetite and when combined (keeping to my calorie restriction) losing weight has been for the first time my life somewhat easy. Good luck, hope this might help.
I am 51 and female. I have gained so much weight since hitting menopause a year ago. Everyone says exercise...but that is difficult when you work two jobs like I do and in studying for doctorate degree. I am looking for an accountability partner on her that I can check in with and share progress. I started today! I hope I will still be motivated tomorrow:)
I am 52 also soon to be 53 and I have found that I lose more weight if I exercise daily. I have cut down on calories and I may lose 1 pound a week but if I at least walk a couple of days that week I lose as much as 5. My job keeps me busy and it is mostly sitting at a desk and using the computer and at the end of the day I am too tired to exercise but when I do I see results.
