Are you talking about the Atkins Diet? I need to do something I suffer from anxiety, which makes me not want to do anything, so I've gained a butt load of weight. Tell me alittle more about what you ate and did if ya dont mind. Thanks Mindy
I was a giant 190 lbs at 5 ft 4 height and managed to get it down to 148lbs in a matter of a year. Although its very controversial, i recommend a low carb diet. I think the best part about it is that it more than anything, it gives you quick results and inspiration to continue on with a healthier lifestyle. The first 10 lbs you lose, though they may be mostly water, do make you feel so great when you step on the scale. After a month or so, you'll start getting more involved with your health until 1 year later your jogging 6 miles a day (that was me :-) )
I have found something to eat that I can eat and eat until satisfied!!! I get a container of "fat free" sour cream and I go to the salad dressing isle and get the powered mix "fiesta ranch" mix and eat with lots of carrots and celery even some pretzels!! I have tried the dry mix in the soup isle too. All is good but the Fiesta ranch is by far my favorite. So at night when I am starving, I fill up on veg. dipped in this. Try it!!! I think this is how I managed to lose 24 lbs. Also cut down on portion size, fats, breads. Eat more popcorn--no butter!!

Successful dieting requires PLANNING AHEAD. Determine what your going to eat and make sure its available as PLANNED. Execute your plan and you will be successful.
Dieting is a very tricky subject. Loosing weight requires commitment and patience. But never starve yourself because that will be temporal. This should be life long. I used to weigh 80kg. but now i am on 70kg. I avoid fatty foods, i exercise regulary, sometimes i skip, but i love good food, there is no way i can leave my life just eating roughage. But I think I am still going down but I do not want to loose to much weight for now i just need to build up. You know what i mean; you look lean but the kgs are there coz of a few muscles. I exercise for 10 minutes every morning and 5 or 10 in the evening. it did not work in one month, I started in June and the results are showing now (Dec). Take it as fun and dancing also so that you enjoy each time you do it. It worked for me, it might work for you. Goodluck:
