I agree...add calories but I would bump up the cardio from walking and pilates to maybe aerobics or running. Your body will get used to exercises generally after 4 weeks. So you should change your routine every 4 weeks or so. You can devise two routines and switch back and fourth. You have to keep the body "guessing" so to speak.
Sorry! I am glad that you are a guy! LOL!! You are so tall!!!! I hope that the comments still helped because they would be the same!!! Also, being a guy I think you need to add more food to your healthy diet! Men tend to need more calories....boy, I wish I could!
Sorely lacking in veggies and dairy, could use a tad more protein.
It could look something like this:
B--1 cup fiber one w/1/2 cup skim milk, 1 egg fried using non stick spray. 1/2 cup skim milk to drink (total 1 cup dairy for breakfast)
S--banana
L--2 wholewheat wraps with chicken and broccoli slaw, with Lt. mayo or mixed with FF salad dressing. 1 cup sliced strawberries
S--nonfat yogurt mixed with Splenda and vanilla extract, 1 cup. Could mix with some fresh fruit
D--Brown rice with chicken, roasted asparagus. Dessert--1/2 cup FF/SF pudding.
You sometimes have to eat right to lose weight, even if it seems like "more".
........ i am guy lol but thank you for commenting back. i need to look into some things aout it and i will deffinatly add vegies to my diet
I don't see any veggies in your diet. I think that you need to add those to have a balanced diet. You should also check out what your caloric intake should be for a person of your height and weight. Sometimes, if we don't take in enough food our body goes into "starvation" mode and our metabolism slows down and so does weight loss. I would suggest talking to your doctor, seeing a nutritionist, or joining a group like weight watchers where your diet is moderated.
Also, watch your carb intake...The fruit, cereal, rice (make sure it is brown rice! white rice is a no-no!) and the wraps can be creating a lot of sugar and if not burned off quickly it turns into fat. I think that your exercise routine is fine. You do not want to overdo it. It will cause you to burn out and then do nothing!
Also when you walk, make sure you walk at a quick pace so you feel your heart rate rise. Once again, you would have to see what the correct beats per minute would be for a girl your age.
You should check with your doctor before starting any weight loss program!
