Sunday Weigh In - August 4, 2013

Good morning, everyone...... golly, the week seems to have gone by so fast.

So, how's everyone doing this weeks?  I hope you're all doing better than I am........ I ate a few things over the past couple days that I should not have, because of the salt content.  As a result, I'm quite swollen this morning, which of course, means that my weight is up.

Rather than the loss, I'd hoped to claim today, I have to accept a gain of 1.8 lbs, but I'm not that upset because I know it's fluid retention.  What I "am" upset about is that I even ate the salty foods to begin with.  I should have known better, because I know how salt affects me.  Now, I basically, have to start over.

I also did not do real well in the exercise department.  On Mon, I did dig out my Biggest Loser, Yoga for Weight Loss and did 40 min of that; however, that's the extent of my exercise for the week, with the exception of 2 hrs of mowing with a push mower on Tue, and some gardening over the past couple days.... yes, it's exercise, but ----

So - this coming week will be spent getting myself back on track.

Now, it's your turn.... were you able to meet your goals?  If so, congratulations.  If not, do you know why?  Is there something we can do to help?

Remember:  we win by losing - weight.......

Wishing everyone a great, successful week.

Hello Everyone!

So I have been busy trying to get ready for the Fall Semester and getting my schedule in order. I must admit, I have fallen off the track. I had a good rotine going on and slowly I have crept back to my bad habits. I have maintained my weight however, probably because this city is on hills and I have been busy going everywhere by bus or walking. I'm going to work really hard to lose 2 pounds this week, I have heard habits take about 22 days to really settle in. So this month thats my goal, make this a life habit.

@Barb135 I totally understand what you mean about starting over. I'm starting over too. I feel that I have failed, but its best to admit it and just start again wiser than before.

@boz5886 psssssh, mister! I didn't see you write anything about walking either! Although, having a dog to walk to is a lot of fun :)

Tsk, tsk, tsk Barb................I'm afraid your gonna have to get a dog Barb. That's my recommendation to get your butt outta the house to walk in the park for an hour. I didn't see a comment in your weigh in msg about walking anywhere.
