I've got a night light for all of you .. :) Am holding steady and not trying to lose now until after the holidays .. working on holding steady or gaining 1-2 pounds. The 26th is my D-Day .. the day my determination kicks back in to gets me moving to my goal .. no more dinking around! I've been playing with pounds up and down far too long and lost my vision .. have my new glasses on and been doing a lot of introspective thoughts .. and am gonna finish this trip.

i gained .5lbs this week! i had my period over the weekend plus ate Olive Garden on Saturday night...the whole nine yards with it!
I think there a several of us here that have been losing and gaining the same few pounds for some time. A lot of the fluctuation for me is fluid retention. Does anyone have any good ideas to help eliminate it? I take blood pressure med that has a diuetic in it and I drink lots of water.
I think a lot of times when the scale says I've gained, it's not really fat I gained but fluid - at least that's what I hope is happening, because the pendulum can swing pretty drastically in a very short time so I don't see how it can really be fat. No - I'm not trying to rationalize things - I'm still over weight - no matter what!!

I have lost 1.2 pounds this week. Actually got down to losing 4 pounds and then had a really bad Friday and Saturday with family get togethers. Ate a little too much food and paid the price. Going to keep a tight lease on my fingers. LOL. At least it is still a loss but as I type this I feel so much larger than I did last week. Weird right??

lucindamartinez - I am in exactly the same boat. Too many treats catching my eye. I feel like a vacuum cleaner this week. Just sucking it all up. I am going to keep my willpower in check and get through this week. I have two more family get togethers this week so I really need to get it together.

I weighed myself on Friday and was down one pound. But I've been bouncing around for months, so this is not new territory.
Well....I missed weigh-in last week. Haven't been exercising for the past week and a half secondary to work activities being on overload (sedentary job...just me and my computer). So that said....I actually gained 3.5 pounds since last weigh-in...two weeks ago for me. All I have to do is to be more vigilent about prioritizing exercise and quit indulging so much for the holidays. I can do it!
Barb and goku....you guys are doing great. Especially for the holiday season! Congrats to you both. And always great to see you also Skailark! ; )

I lost 0.6 lbs this week! at least it was not gaining and i met my first goal which was to be bk under 130 lbs only made it by 1 point so far but just happy to see the number! the tape measure still aint giving me a break so no inches lost again. I'm trying to increase my cardio by twice a day and now im doing the 30 min free run on wii fit! So im hoping to keep losing and for the tape measure to start giving me a break too!!
