Bit gross but with girls hormones play a big part in bad eating habits. I find the best time to start a diet is during and straight after my period, the weight drops off incredibly fast. And before my period I get incredibly hungry, the trick to maintaining weight loss is when your hungry during this time have an incredible amount of will power and don't give into snacking or over sizing your portions and try eat slower so your body gets a chance to realise its full. There's nothing wrong with putting the rest of your meal in the fridge if your too full to eat it all. You can always eat it later! Often the mentality towards not wasting food is a key factor for gaining weight in most women, switching the mentality to "saving it for later" rather than "if I don't eat it all it will be wasted" should help you with your dieting.
Thank you very much 1 week into counting my calories and im down 8 pounds
Here is the answer to this question.
In order to lose weight, you have to subtract calories. Safe weight loss is 1-2 lbs/week, so in order to lose 1 lb/week, you'd have to drop 500 calories from your BMR each day (1 lb is equal to 3500 calories, so 500 calories X 7 days = 3500 calories or 1 lb). OR you can drop 250 calories from your diet and increase exercise to use an additional 250 calories.
Changing up calorie counts and exercises will help prevent plateau.
There is no way to lose 40 pounds in one month, short of some type of surgery that will, literally, remove the fat.
By the way...I'm sure you didn't mean to, but in internet protocol, typing in all capital letter means you're yelling at people...
