Vitamin B12 does NOT boost your metabolism. It gives you more energy, so you're more likely to exercise; it's the exercise that actually boosts your metabolism. I, personally, have been on vitamin B12 shots for over 3 yrs and I can say, without a doubt, it has done nothing to help with weight loss.
